summer's in full swing

i wanted to report on the first full week of having mason home with me. we have been BUSY - with fun, outside activities with good friends. after a week i am EXHAUSTED, in a fabulous way, but have gotten nothing done, really. i wanted to share that everyone is alive & well.
i'm grateful today for the breeze that we have been having along with our 90 degree weather, being present enough with stephen to know that he's teething again and that i am being more aware of my recovery and what i need to be focusing on, i.e. how i can be of service (to people other than my family).
what a great life, playing with my kids all day. now i need to remember that when mason wakes me up in the morning, after mike has held him off until he has to leave for work, needing attention, milk, breakfast, another tv show RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! a friend mentioned to me the other day she doesn't know how we do it, mothers that is. luckily i get that i "get" to do it, not that i "have" to do it. but whew, talk about high energy - he starts out going 90 to nothing!
